Who is Celebrate Recovery For?
Ask yourself these questions…
Do you have trouble setting limits for yourself?
Do you experience un-forgiveness or harbor guilt from past mistakes?
Do you sacrifice your identity, desires, and/or needs in order to make others feel good about themselves or to keep the peace?
Do you struggle with feeling safe when you aren’t in control?
Do you raise your voice to get your way?
Do you act kind on the outside, but feel bitter on the inside?
Do you use food, sex/pornography, relationships, alcohol or drugs to cope with life’s problems?
Do you struggle with your body image?
Do you love someone struggling with destructive behaviors such as pornography, drugs, or alcohol?
Do you live with someone who abuses you physically, sexually, or emotionally; or feel the continued effects of past traumas and abuse?
The obvious answer to the question is everyone. Like Rick Warren says, “All of us have been hurt and we have all hurt others so everyone needs recovery.” Everyone can benefit from Celebrate Recovery and will grow if they go through this healing process.
But, if you answered yes to any of these questions, Celebrate Recovery may be just the place for you.
Come join us Friday nights starting at 6:30 P.M. with fellowship, 7 P.M. is praise/worship followed by either a testimony or teaching, and then 8 P.M. starts our Men’s and Women’s small groups. At 9 P.M. we have fellowship all together at the Coffee Shop.
